Mountain Music Series

As a musician I have always been inspired by folk music and the resonance it has within nature: the wood, the gut, the histories; voices carried down throughout the ages. For this series I have taken influence from the screen-printed posters I have seen over the years for various festivals I have played at or attended. Each instrument and voice - each song - has its own unique story, and within that, a landscape and an origin: a world from which the music derives, and lives within.

All pieces are created with alcohol markers and sharpies, and are illustrated on high quality 12x16 marker paper.
